Filo pastry flowers filled with the sea
Today we “decorate” the Christmas table with “flowers”. Flowers as beautiful as they are delicious. A few flowers of crunchy Filo pastry, stuffed with Spanish potato salad, with an extra touch of sea flavor...Sounds good. Right? We leave you with the second recipe from María del Mar.
Ingredients
- Filo pastry
- Tuna in olive oil
- Potatoes
- Carrots
- Boiled egg
- Mayonnaise
- Salted tuna - (to decorate)
Instructions
- On the one hand, prepare the Filo pastry flowers: cut the Filo pastry into small squares and for each basket / flower superimpose two or three small squares forming a star; put them in a muffin tin forming a kind of basket and bake at 180 ºC until golden brown.
- Boil the potatoes, carrots and egg without salt.
- Cut everything into small pieces and mix it with the tuna and mayonnaise.
- Fill the filo pastry flowers with the Spanish potato salad and decorate with some shavings of salted tuna.
Nice sea flowers. Thank you, María del Mar!
