Asparagus au gratin with mayonnaise and White Tuna

Our friends from Olor andaluz are back to take part in our recipe competition. This time it is Manuel who is behind some asparagus au gratin that you’re going to love. It masterfully combines the flavours of tomatoes, asparagus, mayonnaise and White Tuna, in an easily prepared dish with spectacular results.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tin or jar of thick white asparagus (8 asparagus approximately)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tin of White Tuna (Albacore)
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt

Preparation:

  1. Slightly brown the asparagus on the griddle.
  2. Then, prepare the mayonnaise, and once it is done, mix it with the tuna with the aid of a fork.
  3. Cut the tomatoes into slices.
  4. In an oven dish, place the asparagus and the tomato slices, and cover with the mayonnaise and tuna mixture.
  5. Place in an oven at 200º for around 10 minutes so that it cooks au gratin.
  6. Serve on a plate.
