Avocados stuffed with tuna and chicken

After selecting the winners of the Christmas canapé competition, we return to our regular recipe competition! Today it’s the turn of Olivia, who has sent us a recipe for nutritious avocados stuffed with tuna and chicken.

Olivia tells us that this recipe not only works well with chicken and tuna, but also with crab sticks, hard-boiled egg, peeled prawns… Let your imagination run wild! We invite you to try her recipe and make your own stuffed avocados. What will your secret ingredient be?

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium-sized avocados
  • Chicken breast (leftover roast chicken from the day before is ideal)
  • White tuna
  • Mayonnaise
  • A few drops of brandy
  • Tomato sauce
  • Lettuce

Method:

  1. Cut the avocados in half and remove the flesh.
  2. Mash the avocado flesh in a bowl using a fork.
  3. Add the chopped chicken (stir fry the chicken first if you’re not using leftover roast chicken from the day before) and the canned tuna. Mix together to make a paste.
  4. Make a Marie Rose sauce with 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, tomato sauce and a few drops of brandy.
  5. Add the sauce to the avocado, tuna and chicken mixture.
  6. Refill the avocado skins with the mixture.
  7. Serve with lettuce.

An easy and nutritious recipe. Thank you Olivia!
