Pasta with tuna and mascarpone

“Volare, oh, oh; cantare, oh, oh, oh, oh!” Don’t worry, I’ve not given up recipes for singing lessons! The thing is today we’re travelling to Italy with Paola, who invites us in to her cucina. If you’d like to learn more about authentic Italian cuisine, don’t miss out on her blog Con Paola in cucina.

She tells us today’s recipe is simple, but extremely delicious. Let’s give it a try. What do you say? Andiamo!

Ingredients:

  • 400 gr pasta (either penne or macaroni)
  • 200 gr mascarpone chese
  • 2 tins of Serrats white tuna
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation:

  1. Add the pasta to the boiling water with salt.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, mix the mascarpone cheese and the white tuna in a pan.
  3. Add salt and pepper and stir from to time.
  4. Drain the pasta, and add the sauce we prepared in the pan. Paola tells us that if it’s too thick we can add a bit of water from the pasta.

Grazie mille, Paola!
