Christmas canapes: Date, Cabrales cheese and anchovy appetizers
We are inaugurating the Christmas canapés contest! And we´re doing it with Silvia, from Mi dulce tentación, who has sent us this recipe for delicious date, Cabrales cheese and anchovy appetizers. Dates are a very typical Christmas product and when combined with anchovy... Be prepared for a surprise! Do not miss this recipe full of contrasts.
Ingredients
- Pitted dates
- Cabrales Cheese
- Cantabrian anchovies
- Walnuts - peeled and chopped
- Pomegranate
Instructions
- Cut Cabrales cheese into rectangles of 2cm*03mm.
- Put each wedge of cheese inside each date.
- Cut the Cantabrian anchovy fillets in half lengthwise.
- Place the anchovy on the Cabrales cheese.
- Sprinkle over chopped walnuts with a knife or your fingertips.
- Sprinkle over some pomegranate seeds
