Homemade spelled pizza with white tuna, vegetables and egg
Do you feel like eating a good pizza but you are too lazy to go out to your favorite pizzeria? Fancy a healthier version of this delicious Italian meal without refined flour? Wish granted! Cristina (@cristinarrm) brings us the perfect recipe to prepare a delicious homemade wholemeal spelled pizza with vegetables and white tuna.
Ingredients
- To make the dough:
- Wholemeal spelled flour - 170 g
- Water - 100 ml
- Baker’s dry yeast - 2 g
- Salt - a pinch
- Extra virgin olive oil - a teaspoon
- Other ingredients:
- White Tuna in olive oil - one can
- Pear tomato - 2
- Zucchini
- Red pepper
- York ham
- Olives
- Grated mozzarella
- Egg - 1
- Oregano
- Pepper
- Salt
Instructions
To make the dough, you can use the mixer or knead by hand.
- Pour the flour into a bowl or mixer and make a well in the center. Add the dry yeast and salt. Mix it up.
- Make a hole again and add the water and oil. Knead the dough for a while and add the salt.
- Knead for 10 minutes (in a mixer or by hand).
- Make a ball and put it in the bowl covered with plastic wrap.
- Let the dough rest in a warm place for an hour and then spread it out on a baking sheet.
To make the pizza:
- Grate the two tomatoes and add a little oregano, pepper and salt. Remove it.
- Spread the mixture on top of the dough and add the rest of the ingredients: the small cut vegetables, the tuna, the olives, strips of ham and, in the center, place an egg.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
