Puff pastry nests with sea and mountain stuffing
Here is the last Christmas canapé of the year! Silvia, from Mi dulce tentación, sent us this recipe of stuffed puff pastry nests that will surprise you with its contrasts of texture and flavor. Plus, it is very easy to make. What else could you ask for?
Ingredients
- Puff pastry - one sheet
- Caramelized onion
- Cabrales cheese - or blue cheese
- Thyme - /2 teaspoon, finely chopped
- Egg - 1
- Cantabrian anchovies in olive oil
Instructions
- Cut the puff pastry into circles of about 8cm in diameter. Prick the center with a fork. Brush the edges with beaten egg.
- Place the caramelized onion in the center, and the crumbled cheese on top. Sprinkle the thyme.
- Bake, with preheated oven (heat up and down) at 210º for 12-15 minutes or until the puff pastry is browned.
- Decorate with an anchovy.
