Sardines Christmas Canapé

The crispy touch of the puff pastry, the creaminess of the guacamole, the intensity of the canned sardines... and a few more ingredients make this canapé a perfect appetizer to impress this Christmas. Ingredients
- Sardines in olive oil
- Canned “piparras” (chili pepper)
- Dried tomato - with oil
- Avocado
- Egg yolk - with salt
- Puff pastry
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil
Instructions
- The previous day, add salt to the egg yolk in order to dry it.
- Bake the puff pastry for 7 minutes, in strips of 3 cm thick.
- Cut the “piparra” and the dried tomato. Set aside.
- Peel the avocado and crush with a fork. Add lemon juice, pepper, salt and oil. Set aside.
- Open the sardines and remove the backbone. Set aside.
- Put together the canapé: place the crushed avocado in the puff pastry; add two sardine loins on top; decorate with the “piparra”, the dried tomato and a few pieces of egg yolk.
