Tuna loaf with sliced bread
The tuna loaf with sliced bread is a really useful dish for special occasions when we invite guests to our home. It is easy to prepare, can be left ready in advance, and children and adults enjoy it. In addition, as long as we have sliced bread and tuna, this loaf can be made in different ways and with different ingredients. Our suggestion today is Ana's recipe, with Burgos soft cheese and salad. Layer by layer, Ana combines the ingredients to make a delicious cold tuna loaf.
Ingredients
- Sliced bread
- Yellowfin tuna
- Hard boiled eggs - 3
- Mayonnaise
- A bag of mixed salad
- Burgos Soft Cheese
- Tomato - 1
- Spring onion - 1
- Carrot - 1
- Cherry tomatoes - several for garnish
Instructions
- Put a layer of bread in a bowl and spread on mayonnaise.
- Cover with Burgos soft cheese, cut into slices of a few millimetres.
- In a bowl, put a can of yellowfin tuna, add the spring onion, tomato and salad, all very finely chopped. Then add the grated carrot and a few tablespoons of mayonnaise. Mix all the ingredients until you get the blend to fill the loaf.
- Spread half of this mixture on the Burgos cheese.
- Add a new layer of sliced bread spread with mayonnaise.
- Cut the hard-boiled eggs into thin slices. Keep an egg as garnish and place the other two on the bread.
- Cover again with the rest of the tuna and vegetable mix.
- Cover with a last layer of bread and mayonnaise.
- Garnish with thin-sliced hard-boiled egg and halves of cherry tomatoes.
